The Vice President of sales will be accountable for increasing sales, achieving sales goals, sales strategies, plans and budgets for sales administration and management. S/he will also serve as a mentor to the sales force and act as subject matter expert for our core products and services nationally.
We are part of a successful multi-billion dollar company. We sell prescription products and related services to physicians nationally. Both the healthcare segment and our niche within healthcare are forecasted for steady growth over the next 20+ years. We are looking for a dynamic, metric driven, proven sales professional to develop and lead our sales team to take maximum advantage of the growth opportunities in our category. The successful candidate will lead a sales force of approximately 100 sales company and will report to the President.
Our sales organization has over the past year experienced a high degree of turnover and diminished sales performance. We seek a proven sales leader who has the demonstrated capacity to successfully lead a sales force through a turnaround within a compressed time frame. Our products and services are in steady and growing demand and we have the capital and infrastructure in place to significantly scale our existing $225 million dollar business (current approximate annual revenue). This is ripe and golden opportunity for a talented sales professional to produce dramatic and very visible results in a category which is full of opportunity.
This opportunity is only for a select professional who can hit the ground running while quickly learning our products and services and lead our sales force and company to maximize growth opportunities this year.
A bachelors degree is required. An advanced degree and/or MBA are preferred. The successful candidate will also possess 10 to 15 years sales experience; 5+ years management experience desirable. Healthcare experience strongly preferred, sales professionals are encouraged to apply
